created an on-line program providing American Board of Medical
Specialties (ABMS) primary source verification of the board certification
status of medical specialists in all ABMS recognized specialties
and subspecialties. TMP was the first to produce an online method
of verifying physician board certification and is the premier
choice in the credentialing industry due to its excellent reputation
for quality, integrity and customer service.
CertiFACTS
On-Line - Official ABMS® Display Agent.
Effective April 1st, 2004 the American Board of Medical Specialties
(ABMS) ® designated
TMP Medical Listings' CertiFACTS Online verification service as
an Official ABMS(R) Display Agent making these services a primary
equivalent source for "board certification data" - in
accordance with credentialing standards of JCAHO, NCQA, URAC and
other key accrediting organizations.
Through
CERTIFACTS On-Line, you can obtain password-protected access to
ABMS data of board certification information on over 600,000 physicians,
with effective and expiration dates and all historical information
of board certifications displayed. The information will allow
you to print individual copies of the Certification Data screen
for your files. Now, you control the process -- the information
is available around the clock, right at your fingertips. The data
is updated with new certification and recertification information
daily.
How
It Works.
Your prepaid annual subscription entitles you to unlimited verifications
during the year. Multi-user and/or multi-site contracts are also
available. You receive a login and password that connects you
to the system for security. Then, upon logging in, a simple verification
screen appears allowing you to enter the required information,
i.e. last name, first name is usually sufficient. When the results
appear, the information is ready to print for your file and is
